As part of our Numeracy work on Capacity we helped some of the characters from Jack and the Beanstalk. We found out how many small bowls of cereal it takes to fill the giant's big bowl, how many small cups it takes to fill the giant's big mug, created potions to help Daisy the cow produce more milk and helped Jack's mum to order the containers she had in the cupboard for their capacity. Primary 1 and 2 used super capacity vocabulary, worked in groups, solved problems and had lots of fun at the same time!
