Year 5 enjoyed the opportunity to learn first hand from a real life explorer. Mr Elliott has been on many expeditions all over the world. We enjoyed asking him questions that we created during a literacy lesson prior to the visit. Also we developed our knowledge and understanding of our 'Polar Regions' topic by listening and watching his slideshow. Finally we enjoyed the opportunity to handle and trying on his specialized equipment.
